Manuscript volume containing sermons written by James Warner, as well as a list of baptisms performed by him from 1694-1724 in various towns throughout Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Gloucestershire, including Ashby-de-la-Zouche, Tewkesbury, and Hartshorne. The sermons are written fairly neatly, though there are some emendations and additions written at a later date in Warner's hand. Following the sermons, there is a list of places and dates at which he delivered them, spanning 1693-1737, and including Hartshorne, Ashby, Hollington, Tewkesbury, Grafton and Walsall.
